Having a fresh, smooth and wrinkle-free face is not an easy task. There are many factors that cause premature aging and skin deterioration: sun exposure, free radicals, alcohol consumption, air pollution, poor diet, smoking or simply smiling or frowning. Searching on the internet I found a super cool campaign called “What’s her secret”. On the website I found really interesting information about two treatments designed to correct fabulously the mid-face and lip area in a very natural looking way. As we all know, those areas are more likely to get wrinkles, expression lines and suffer premature aging. The treatments are called Restylane® Lyft and Restylane® Silk. The first treatment intends to add volume and lift cheeks without surgery and is the first/only FDA-approved filler to treat both the midface area, as well as smile lines. The second is designed to add volume, shape and dimension to the lip area and is the first treatment FDA approved indicated to treat both lip volume and lines around the lips.
I ended up reading the whole page, YouTubing for video treatments and devouring all the reviews from external websites. I found out that the brand was celebrating an event where a well-known doctor, Jason Emer, who is an expert in the area, was going to talk in detail about this super innovative treatments, was also going to show the process and, of course, the results. I didn’t think twice to join to guest list of the event called “What’s her secret” — a very captivating and intriguing title…
The event was held in one of the most beautiful spots in Los Angeles — the restaurant “Beso” located in West Hollywood. I was received by a super friendly staff and I had the opportunity to talk to some of the Galderma team, to hear all the science behind it and to see the demonstration of both the Restylane® Silk and Restylane® Lyft treatments.
Even though I wanted to try these treatments, I reached the conclusion that I don’t really need it, at least not right now because fortunately enough my skin is in pretty good shape… but these treatments are definitely at the top of my list when I get close to my mid 30’s. Here are the reasons why I’m sold on these treatments:
Restylane Lyft, a treatment used to treat wrinkles, add volume, and a youthful and natural touch to the mid-face area, is a product formulated specifically to act like our body’s own naturally produced hyaluronic acid. The final result is a more defined, even and radiant face. The Restylane® Silk is designed to improve the appearance of the lips subtly and naturally. It eliminates wrinkles around and on the lips and again leaves them looking incredibly soft.
So I believe the secret of a healthy, beautiful and wrinkle-free face is very clear: RESTYLANE.
